Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella presents Atlas Room, an exhibition featuring works by Santiago Picatoste, an artist born in Palma de Mallorca and based in Málaga, whose distinctive visual identity explores colour, gesture and the energy of contemporary painting.

Through the Atlas series, Picatoste creates compositions in which shapes evoke imaginary archipelagos and maps. Colour expands across the surface, while brushstrokes appear suspended in time, inviting each viewer to discover their own geography and new relationships between movement, space and perception.

Under the curatorial direction of Red House Art, the exhibition brings together works from different formats and stages of the series, including new pieces, transforming Sala Terra into a space to immerse oneself in the artist’s visual universe. The exhibition also builds on Picatoste’s existing relationship with Kimpton Los Monteros Marbella, where some of his works form part of the hotel’s permanent collection.

The exhibition will open on 15 October at 7:00 PM with a welcome cocktail at El Patio, offering an opportunity to discover the artist’s work and share a new encounter with art at the hotel.
