José Carlos García has established himself as one of Spain’s most celebrated chefs, earning a Michelin star and two Repsol Suns. With over 25 years of professional experience, he started his career honing his craft under the guidance of several renowned culinary masters across European cities, before returning to his hometown of Málaga to launch his personal culinary venture.

Before opening his eponymous restaurant in 2011, he helmed the kitchen at Restaurante Café de París in Málaga, where he also earned a Michelin star. His culinary approach is defined by a deep respect for local ingredients and a unique ability to blend tradition with modernity in his culinary creations.

Passionate about Andalusian cuisine and local ingredients, José Carlos García crafts his dishes using fresh, locally sourced produce, maintaining daily connections with trusted markets and suppliers. His innovative approach reimagines Andalusian recipes with impeccable techniques and plenty of bold creativity.
